Outreach Newsletter Summer24

“Stockwell Academy has worked closely with many members of the Northcott Outreach team over the past 8 years whilst I have been SENCo and Inclusion Manager. We have built a really strong rapport with the team and continue to value their input and support for our pupils, families and staff.

Northcott Outreach team always respond quickly to any areas of need we have and have established a positive system of support which works for us as a school team. We have seen our pupils thrive with their support and recommendations. Many of our families have benefitted from their support through a variety of courses such as the ‘Autism awareness’ and ‘Early Bird’ programs and this has had an impact on the progression of support we have seen with our pupils in the home as well as in the school setting.”

Stockwell Academy – Louise Kilby (SENCo and Inclusion Manager)

Northcott Outreach Service have supported our school for a number of years and are a service that we can rely on when we need specialist support and advice. They have provided fantastic training and resources for staff, specific support for individual pupils and have led interventions for small groups of pupils in our school. The staff from the service are always eager to help and have built positive relationships with both staff and pupilsNorthcott Outreach have also advised us in signposting parents to specific services and have attended our SEND Coffee Mornings to demonstrate useful resources/strategies to support children at home. They are always easy to contact and respond quickly so that support can be implemented as soon as possible for the child.”
