City Wide ASD Vision

Northcott is working closely with the Local Authority to improve ASD capacity across the city. Northcott School and Bricknell Primary are at the forefront of this provision and further primary and secondary Resources Bases are planned from September 2019.

The aim of these ASD specialist provisions is to:

improve SEND capacity for those with SLCN
enable pupils to access mainstream education with specialist input in a carefully managed environment

Northcott will continue to strive to meet the needs of pupils with Speech language and communication needs by working in partnership with Head Teachers across the city and the Local Authority
