Business breakfast

Our year 11s have had a busy week this week. Yesterday they visited the Skills Humber event and today we hosted our own Business Breakfast here in school with local employers and training providers. At this breakfast our pupils networked with local business leaders, confidently talking about their ambitions, skills and hopes for their future careers.

We were all impressed by our pupils’ maturity and would like to say a big thank you to all who gave up their time to support our event and our school. Support from future employers and training providers is particularly invaluable in terms of challenging perceptions, championing our pupils and focusing on abilities not disability.

Our young people did us proud.
